Privacy Policy

At Libro, we believe your focus data belongs to you. We are a "Local-First" application, which means the majority of your data lives on your device, not our servers.

1. Data We Collect

  • Guest Data: In Guest Mode, your session history, preferences, and "Ink" counts are stored in your browser's localStorage. We do not have access to this data.
  • Analytics: We use privacy-friendly analytics (PostHog) to understand how the app is used (e.g., "how many people click the Start button"). We do not track your personal identity across the web.

2. Cookie & Local Storage Policy

We use two types of local data storage to make Libro work. By using the site, you agree to their use:

Essential Local Storage

This is your "Database." We save your completed sessions, Ink count, and settings directly to your device's browser memory. If you clear your browser cache, this data will be lost (unless you create an account).

Functional Cookies

We use small cookies solely to remember your UI preferences (like Dark Mode vs. Light Mode) so you don't have to reset them every time you visit.

3. Service Providers

We partner with trusted third-party infrastructure providers to deliver Libro to you. We strictly select partners who demonstrate a commitment to data privacy and security:

  • Hosting: Our application is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure (Vercel) which may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and performance purposes.
  • Analytics: We use privacy-focused analytics (PostHog) to understand aggregate usage patterns. We have configured this service to mask personal identifiers where possible.
